Steps to become a Lifeguard & Swim Instructor
Please note:
NEW National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Pool Option Prerequisites:
• Candidate must be 16 years old (proof of age required)
• Completion of Bronze Cross by first class
• Current Standard First Aid or Aquatic Emergency Care (within 2 years)
• Current CPR (within 1 year)
